Ask yourself

Is lone a matter for the head
or for the heart?

(Jane Austen)

Come by this line in her book today, and I stop. I drop the book in my lap and close my eyes.

Inevitably brilliant question.

I try to ask myself and figure out what could be the right answer. Well, all that come out from my head is the title of the song that David Cook sang beautifully last night on his final performance on American Idol, "I'm still haven't found what I'm looking for"

Is the journey in this 'looking thing'
should always feel so lonely?

Both for the head, and for the heart?

Another story about crosses

In a certain village in Umbria (Italy), there lived a man who was always bewailing his lot. He was a Christian, and found the weight of his cross too heavy to bear.

One night, before going to sleep, he begged God to let him change his burden.

That night he had a dream; the Lord led him to a warehouse. "Go ahead and change it," he said.

The man saw crosses of all sizes and shapes, with the names of their owners. He picked an average size cross – but when he saw the name of an old friend written on it, he left it aside.

Finally, as God had permitted, he chose the smallest cross he could find.

To his surprise, he saw his own name written on it.

To every mom in the world...happy mother's day!

MOTHERHOOD

Mothers mold, shape and colour their unique creations,
everyday, in everything they do.

Mothers don't even think in terms of sacrifice.
No matter what they have to give up to raise their children,
it is always worth it.

Knowing what it is to be a mother,
is the gateway to know
what it is to be a human.

Motherhood is not a costume you put on
for a brief moment now and then.
There is no"time off", no sick leave or paid holidays.
but, it is always worth it.

To every mom in the world,
who always look with your heart and feel with your eyes,
who always be a bank
where your children deposit all their worries and hurt,
who always be there,
Happy Mother's day!

Yes, it is always worth it.

MUST READ BOOK FOR MAY

There are many things that can help you to 'get' happiness in your life. For me, one of them is definetely 'keeping life simple'. Which, I still find very very hard to do. Even to keep a simple plan, or a simple mind. Still, always complicated, always cluttered.
So, when I found this book, I had a big smile in my face, and there was sound in my head,"Aha!"
Maybe this can help.
Maybe not.
Maybe I'll try.
Maybe I don't even have time.
Maybe, just maybe, my life is already simple enough because I don't have a country to run, or a political agenda whatsoever to worry about, or because I don't have ten companies to balance my life's need, or simply because I have mother-in-law that live in other city.....
In that case, maybe my life is simple already.
Hopefully yours too.
